Could you help? I'm trying to remember the title of a game from a few years ago. Here's what I remember.

1.3d
2.move mouse to edge of screen to move
3.mouse to aim
4.lmb machine guns
4.rmb missiles
5.second mission involved destroying a moon base
6.intro included "Did you ever want to be a spaceship pilot?" propaganda or whatever
7.first mission= stranded ship; protect rescue ship
8.objective in second mission: destroy the hyperdrive.

Professor Plum, in the Billiard Room, with the wrench.

Just a shot in the dark since I don't really play space sims, but the control scheme sounds similar to Freelancer.

Zackly what i was thinking. Man that game had the cheesiest, amateurish cutscenes and voice acting evar.

Fun fact: I saw Freelancer years ago at an EB Games for $2. It was the only copy and it was there for months but I never bought it.

Fun Fact: Worst decision of your LIFE.

Also it is neither Freelancer nor Darkstar One.

Perhaps Starlancer?

I never played starlancer, but given freelancer was its sequel I would assume it had the same control scheme
