how do all! ive got me garrys mod 10,pretty much all i play regarding HL,been downloading some crackin..er..mods, for this mod,and alls been well until recently.
i can play for a while then if i decide to create some big ol explosions or spawn something that might make the pc work a little it just goes straight to desktop citing 'datacache dll' issues.
i thought it could be OVERclocking so i rest to defaults and its still playing silly buggers!
my spec is

amd 64 3500 @ 2.2g
1 gig o ram
nvidia 7600gt
on an a8ne board.

anyway any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't really speak for gmod 10 cause I only have 9 but larger explosions and stuff that calls for a lot of quickly moving objects tend to crash the game rather quickly (such as stacking together 30 or so barrels and blowing them up or filling a level with a hundred copies of the HQ gman skin). But if this happens when you're not doing anything too spectacular I'm not sure what could be the problem.
