I'm excited, been waiting TWO freaking years for this!

They have also done some editing to remove the more "violent" scenes (like when naruto stabs his hans).

I put up with the fillers for like 18 months, but stopped following them. I am going to resume following the series now when the fillers come to an end.

Yes... sadly... I just picked it up with the last Arc Filler... was decent for a filler but YES! ITS BACK WOOO and Naruto is all grow'ed up!

Far more authentic. That's like saying you'd rather have a shitty dubbed over french film because you don't like listening to the authentic version while reading subtitles.
Dubbing sucks. Period.

eh, after watching Subbed Anime for as Long as I have, you get used to it. when I think back to previous episodes I actually recall images of them speaking English, not japanes. It comes naturally, you dont even feel like you are reading anything.

I stopped watching the filler a long time ago but this is good news.

I'm happy, but since then I've picked up a much better show, One Piece. 10x better than Naruto and they're up to ep 296 with only like 15 total eps of filler and specials.

haha, one piece is ok, I stopped watching it just because I did not enjoy the Animation much... reminded me of the old DB and DBZ episodes. We have come along way since then. I'm picky.

You should check out Wonderful Days then. The story's average, but visually it's nice.

I was really looking forward to hearing Konoha's Yellow Flash's voice. AND OBITO! My God, poor Obito, he doesn't even get animated. He got crushed by a rock you jerks, let him at least have an episode!

Naruto english dubbing is completely homosexual. Seriously. It's horrible. There's a only a couple of anime that have been dubbed well and Naruto is not one of them.

Question, though: How do they rework the words? Do they have to fit words that match the (crude) lip movements and say what the character means? I ask because Naruto keeps going "Believe it!" at the end of stuff, and i'm pretty sure it's because of something japanese he says.

"Believe it" replaces his Japanese "dattebayo," which means absolutely nothing. Believe it.

I'm not actually sure if they have to dub for all the lip movements or if they redo parts of the animation to fit the dub. That's a good question...

Death Note recently got claimed by the American goons, so I can't find it for torrent anymore . I should start looking harder I guess.

what are you talking about the effect they put into it???? hearing a japanese voice just takes me away from the show. they effect that they put in the show is how good the story is, not the amazingly annoying japanese voice.

Uh...wait. You do realize that Brick was talking about DBZ, right? An anime which, dubbed, had adult Goku sounding like a man, as opposed to in Japan where he was voiced by Nozowa Masako, the woman who did his voice in Dragon Ball...when he was a CHILD. Goku's voice never changed throughout the series in DB, DBZ, and DBGT.

Compare this to America where more often than not the voices are deeper (even for children--take Yami/Pharoah/Atem, Yugi Moto's alter-ego from Yu-Gi-Oh...guy sounds like he's thirty). Most younger males in anime are also voiced by female seiyuu in Japan; comparatively, most boys in dubs are played by males. Ironically the voice of dubbed Naruto is an exception.
