Naruto is the greatest anime ever!

Naruto is absolutely best anime series ever.
Is there anybody who thinks this.

There should be cos this is so great!
 
Ive never heard of it...whats it about?


Well, ive heard the name but nothing about it.
 
A boy who got a demon fox sealed inside of him when he was born.
It's all about ninjas and stuff.
It's so cool!

lol, is it just me or does this describe most anime? i'm probably the only person on this site that doesn't care for anime in general..

but then again, it's all about ninjas and stuff..
 
I'm no anime fan tbh, but I do like big robots :)

However, lots of the stuff Majjy's told me to download has been wierd as hell.. pretty good animation though :)
 
A childhood love of mine was Transformers.. they were the coolest thing I'd ever seen, I loved them :o
 
I still have to see the movie. We didn't have a TV when I was little, so I only had one tape of Transformers to watch at my gran's.. I knew the episodes off by heart ;(
 
oops, didn't mean to spoil it for you :( i just assumed that you'd have seen it since you claim to have loved them.. now i'm beginning to wonder.. :hmph:
 
Heh, it's Ok, I loved what I saw. My favourite transformer was Starscream! I had a pop-up book that had a model of Starscream you could make out of card.. I made it and it was my favourite toy until my dad sat on it ;(
 
lol, starscream was the ****ing man! usually, i was pulling for the decpticons anyway, and starscream was always screaming.. what a nutcase! you should watch the movie asap.
 
I think it was rule that the bad guys had to look cooler...

Yeah, Starscream was cool, I always like bad guys better than good ones :)
 
Man, Naruto gets so many bad comments that I'm not even going to download and episode.

Comments such as "Crappy and rushed animation" and so on.
And fighting anime's I generally don't like.
 
Transformers rule!!

The movie was amazing, its probably my favorite childhood movie of all time.

I thought this was about ninjas, not people that yell a lot and try to talk each other to death while 'powering up'... :laugh:
 
I havn't seen Naruto, but I am interested and NO ONE can stop me from loving Inu-Yasha.

Same thing, one fight can take up to 10 episodes.. it stared out good, but went down very fast. Good for ages 10-14.
 
I generally only get into animes that last less than 20 episodes, this one's still going strong in Japan and up to like ep 80, so unless they start playing it on TV here (not likely), then I won't bother.
 
Naruto is the only anime I watch. It's true, things are kind of drawn out...but I still really like it. BT's of the episodes are released every Thursday. I don't know if there's any TV station you can see it on right now. The BT's are all translated by some group...some of which are really bad translations. ANBU is the best translation group I've seen yet.
 
Naruto does indeed kick ass! I've got all the Manga (up until 212) and all the Anime (up until ep 79). \o/
 
I dont think i have the time to watch a anime with 90+ eps... maybe when I dont have anything else to watch.

27 eps is max for me for now :)
 
I can't say I'm that entertained by Naruto. The anime is ok, but it's rather boring with all the time-consuming flashbacks all the time. I mean for crying out loud! They had a fight on a bridge for like 10+ episodes (!!!)
If there is one anime I like it's Fullmetal Alchemist.
 
yes naruto is pretty stale. first time i saw it, thought it was mind blowing, but then it took several episodes to make me realize that it was just standard fare. that bridge episode was madness i say. what do you guys expect from the producers of DBZ.
 
anime is lame and weird i hate it..some characters are cool tho..but most of them is just weird..
 
Majestic has 'anime' 'hentai' and 'tentacles' on highlight on IRC :)

Heh. When I can be bothered, I'll sit down and watch some proper anime, but I don't have the time... so what I think is based on Majestic's recommendations :)
 
I was kinda hopeing Naruto might have something to do with Naru.

I like anime in that it's capable of being more offbeat and original than your standard American kiddified cartoon. My favorite anime is Trigun, btw. I've only seen about 4 series of anime, and while Trigun is rather kiddyish, it's honest and original and doesn't pretend to be more than it is. If you're into analysis, there's quite a bit of thematic and symbolic brain-food you can dig out of Trigun.
