Can someone please tell me how do download natural selection because I keep on going to www.natural-selection.com and it tells me to download client one, beta 4, then beta 4a but everytime I do that then when I install all of them it doesn't show any trace that it is in my Steam account so I can't play it, but I still keep on downloading it over and over again, so what did I do wrong? ;( Please tell me.

you have to restart Steam for it to show up in the menu.

plus, make sure you're installing in the right order(ie. 3.01, 3.04, 3.04a) and into the correct dir(ie. C:\\ProgramFiles\Steam\SteamApps\your-email addyorusername\halflife). Try it and let us know.

i downloaded 3.01, 3.04, 3.04a, and 3.05 client and it still wont come

Are you positive you're installing it in the right directory?

Check for this directory:

Steam\SteamApps\user-name\half-life\ns

Only problem is that everytime when I install them again then it doesnt show the icon that says play game, it just shows an icon that when i double click it says icon and thats all, but i have all of the other files

Yay! I finally fixed the problem by uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Thank you to the people who tried to help.

Hey um do you guys suggest any third party games i should dl? Except for Ns, BG, ESF, VS?
