Natural Selection mod????

Just wondering if anyone has heard of Natural Selection for hl1, and if they are considering moving to hl2??

Yes heard of it, if they are moving it to HL2 then look at their website. We don't know.

I read interview with them, they are still thinking. Why? Well, they think HL2 won’t be as popular as HL1, and many people won’t move from HL1 engine to HL2, so they are not planning to move in any future. But again, interview was taken back in May, so maybe they changed their mind already.

they do have a good point, i mean hl1 has a userbase allready. And only hc fans will move to hl2, not just your average gamer who can run hl1.

I'm pretty sure more than just "hardcore" half-life fans will move onto HL2. In fact, HL2 probably grabbed a lot of Q3 fans, UT2k3 fans, and other fans. I doubt HL2 will struggle with sales.

According to the dev team, as of right now there are no plans to move NS to HL2. Although Flayra has stated that if he did do something in the NS universe it would probably be a very different style than what we have with NS.

I hope he goes through with it.

Natural Selection is a great mod, i hope they move it over to the source.
