Okay, so i understand theres not a huge following here of the NBA mainly because it takes place in the US/Canada but.....

with this Spurs team having such balance as far as representing a couple of different countries, i am surprised nobody is talking about Manu Ginobili and/or Tony Parker.

anyway i watched the game last night and finally, the Spurs put the vice grip on the Pistons like i thought they would before. Ginobili is fun to watch..its just too bad hes out on the west coast...the rest of the world just doesn't get to see him all that much.

any Ginobili fans here? :D

I ****ing hate Ginobli, I'd love to break his big nose.
**** the spurs, I really hate them and Tim Duncan.
Pistons still own them regardless, go spurs go run that clock! fags

I dislike the Spurs.. They are cocky IMO. I hate the fact that they have different players from different countires. I mean I just don't like how that one team with all of those foreigners wins. Yes, they are exceptionally good, but I just cannot stand them..

anyone else think them going 7 games was rigged?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was..

I guess you wouldn't like football (soccer) that much, most of the bigger teams are full of foreigners. They just spend millions on whoever they want from around the world.

I never liked soccer.. It just strikes me as a boring sport. I mean its 90 minutes of boringness.. Even when a team scores, it still is terribly boring.

it's only good with central/south american announcers, i love it when they yell "GOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" - that part's just awesome

you've been watching the wrong matches, matety.

Soccer's ok. I just hate it when the players drop and roll around on the ground when they get touched. Unsportsmanlike if you ask me. Too much diving; it's ridiculous. Argh.

I don't watch Basketball because it is just turning into a dunking contest. There's very little defense in that game, sucking much of the thrill out of it for me. It's just basket after basket after basket. Kinda gets repeatitive after watching for 10 minutes.

(You'll have to excuse me, I'm still bitter at the loss of the Stanley Cup playoffs :( )

well this finals was anything but a dunk fest.
the two best defensive teams and while the first four games were blow outs, games 5, 6 and 7 were close.
infact alot of basketball fans were complaining that this finals was boring because of all the defense.

anyway, whats this about hating on foreign'ers?
shouldn't it be about, good players, good plays and fun basketball?
what does being a foreign'er got to do with it aside from me asking people here if they are Ginobili/Spurs fans?

sheesh...either i can't detect the sarcasm or suddenly this place stumbled in the "quality people" department. :|
