She later claimed she was trying to 'be sarcastic' which doesn't make any sense whatsoever, given her tone and the exact text of what she said.
This is a scary precedent. We actually have elected leaders now calling for suspended elections due to a time of crisis. Hopefully she is voted out ASAP. It's ridiculous that she can even have such thoughts, let alone think it's acceptable to voice them!
