Guys, we have now entered November, and in 16 days it will be the 1st Birthday of Half-Life 2. So how have your lives changed or not changed over this time?

Me:

Got HL2 and pwned it within a week
Started seriously going to gigs, starting off down Barfly
Some awesome big gigs: Velvet Revolver, Greenday, Rammstein and...
First real pulling action :naughty: at the Audioslave gig
Footy Manager 2005 and subsequent SI games foruming (my first baby steps in forum life)
Turned 17
Got Broadband
Started playing Call of Duty MP
Soon advanced into CS:S, some very good times on the UKTC servers
Started visiting these forums
Registered on these Great Forums
New £1000 customised PC :E
First Girlfriend (what a waste of my time :| )
Exams...later results: B, 2 D's and an E
Got BF2, fell in love and barely looked back at CS:S since
Now personally infamous Berlin/Krakow trip....long story
After ^^ split with girlfriend
Right after becoming single again joined my BF2 clan -=256=-
Returned to college for A2 year
Now


That's about it, tried to put it in some kind of order, but meh

Now you lot!

Um, noooo, an E is the worst actual grade classed as a pass in AS/A2 levle in the UK dude!
 
Went from immature to somewhat mature.
 
I know, I've made a conscious decision to regress.

But in the past year, let me think... REALLY made some progress with my life and friends and just generally making things a lot more kickass and personal and intense.

Not to mention I'm nearing the two year mark of posting here (gulp).
 
I'm too lazy to sum it all up.


That, and I forgot 90% of it. I have bad memory :p

well, jesus... that's like, absolutely nothing at all, man :( I mean, even being thrown out of existance is something worth posting about.

Played HL2, enjoyed it, although my computer sucks monkeyballs.
Became moderator on a different forum.
Wasted my time on these boards... :p

Failed my IB by one point. I'm fairly certain I was robbed. I made an appeal in two courses I know I should have done better in, but to no avail.

Went to Spain for my graduation trip and had the absolute best time of my life. It will be my standard of enjoyment that all other events shall be measured against.

Had some fit chick tell me she fancied me for a long time right before I left. Awesome, woman. Thank you for telling me this as I'm about to leave. But next time you reveal such information to a person, do so at a time when sex can take place as opposed to the last minute.

Grew out my facial hair not out personal preference, but because I came to the conclusion that I'm a lazy bastard and can't be arsed to shave in the morning.

Went to university, missed my friends, hated my new environment, and curled myself into a dark corner of life where I occasionally pop my head out and scowl at the world.
 
Absinthe. You need to bed that fit chick in order to enjoy life again. That is your mission to complete before the end of year.

Bah, she really wasn't a big issue. I didn't really like her and I was getting a good amount of play any way. It was more like not getting sprinkles on your ice cream cone. Or something like that.
 
I should really get around to beating HL2 without cheats one of these days.

Same as above, except going a bit more immature before the maturing.
 
Got full time work as a sound engineer.. Started going out more, doing stuff... growing up I guess. :)

High school started
Moved into a new apartment
Got FEAR
Present day.

Boring? Yes.

Looking back, I see ive lost some good friends mostly because I have re-classified them as idiots. Mine or their fault, I dont know. As a result however, I have turned into a bitter, bored, cynical and somewhat depressed nolife.
Ah well. Good to be alive \o/

Gigged in many places
Made over £1000 just by giggin
Recorded an EP
Got an Agent
Met some really cool people at my college
Did pretty well in exams at AS...A,B,C,D
Dropped the subject i got a D in (best decision of my life)
Joined these forums
Became obsessed by my uber computer and marvelled at how it played games
Went on some very cool trips
Gotten very drunk many times since my 18th
Had a wicked time
Wow not a bad year....oo yer..completed half life 2 in a rediculasly short time...zzzzz
 
My last year was full of alcohol, sex, modding, and for the last three months, Zombie Master.
