Need 2 install HL2 on H: drive,not C:

I recently added another SATA drive and created volumes for games, personal, etc.
I uninstalled HL2, so as to re-install it into H:, but "Install" is not an option when I load the CD, only "modify" and "Uninstall". I tried to use the Unistall, in case I left an entry hanging somewhere, (even though I ran Cleaner and RegSeeker afterwards). But it says: cannot uninstall what isn't installed, or something similar...
Can I have some insight as to what extra files are left, and where, so as to remove them?
When I try to "modify" the install, (re-install), I cannot find a way to change the directory to where it will be installed, it only gives the default setting at C: program Files. Can I change this to H: drive? If so, how?
Thanks, this is the last game I had to re-allocate, and I really wanted to play CS:S this weekend.

Uninstalled steam? Valve games are tied to wherever the Steam directory is...

Yeah, you can literally move the STEAM folder from Program Files to another drive's program files, and then load it up from that location from then on... I believe...

I've done it, nothing went wrong.

It has been awhile since the original install, and I forgot I could go to Steam, dnld the steam app fresh and install it where I wanted. All fixed now. Just have to reload all my maps all over again... Thanks 4 replies.
