Im looking for a good gamers mouse for a decent price. preferably a diamondback (whichever style). any one got any tips and.or ideas as to where i can find one?

Go for the Logitech MX (number, ex. 1000) series or the Logitech G(number, ex. 7) series.

i have not tried it yet myself but have only heard good things about the Diamond Razor mouse.
i will need a new mouse soon so the Razor mouse is one of a few im looking at.
looking at the specs of this mouse, it clearly does seem like the best mouse in the market right now but i don't know its' availability in my area or your's...unless you are willing to purchase off the net.
check the URL below for more info on it.

Diamond Razor mouse

Logitech MX510. I own one. I bought it for $50, it's probably around $30 now. Awesome mouse.

Diamond Razor mouse

i like the link. gives me an idea of wht kinda money im gonna need. i really want the new copperhead. looks awsome and is a bad asss mouse. :borg:

i understand a little on what DPI is but can any one explain it more in depth for me?

Make it Bluetooth if you can. If you're going wireless, don't fu¢k around.

My Microsoft 5-button optical mouse pwns you all.

Logitech (MX518)

Just as precise as the razor, is much more comfortable (but not ambidextrous so no lefties), it can adjust precision on the fly, has adjustable weights so you can have it glide just how you want it, and it has a decent price (it was on for like $40 here)

I've been with an MX510 for nearly half a year now, wanna get the latest G model ( think its 8 might be wrong :|) when i got the money :)

Get a Logitech, I got that with my Alienwear and I love it has a wide base and a perfect finger rest on the side (Wireless) Battery life indecator on the side and a
sweet looking charger, here is what it looks like only mine is wireless

DPI is the amount you need to move the mouse so it'll move relative distance on screen. If you have a small DPI mouse (like 800dpi) then you'll need to move the mouse an inch at default sensitivity, so it'll move 800 little spots on screen.

Having a higher DPI just means that you needn't move the mouse as much at default sensitivity to move it further.

ahhh thanks dekstar. see idk what everyone else is talking about. youve helped me out a couple of times now.

you say that...but if you try out this Razor mouse, you would see the difference mainly due to the dpi difference between the two mice.

i got a Razor Diamondback plasma LE @ 1700dpi and its nice - i like it

www.overclockers.co.uk - (if your in the UK) they got some at nice prices
www.aria.co.uk also
I wanted one of those back in June when they first kinda came out, but overclcokers said they were out of stock and I couldn't find them anywhere else. Bastards! :(.

Ty for the Aria link, who's usually cheaper? OCuk or Aria?

I usually find OCuk is the cheaper but Aria has the selection and often more stock

Real hardware like GPus etc OcUK is definatley the cheaper - with a shorter delivery time ! :p

thanks all for the advice as to which mouse to get. im getting the new razer copperhead for x-mas. woohoo. i cant wait.
