Need Dod Help

Ok my friend bought dod and everytime he trys to connect to a server it drops him. Why is this? What do u do to keep this from happening?
He dled both C-D and hlguard but they arent working for him. If u could help with this it would greatly appreciated.

Does he actually get into the game for a few seconds or does it just not let him in.

Most dont let him in. Hes only said 2 have let him in not sure how true that is though.

Does he have the right version?

Yeah, make sure he has the latest patches, and that his router (if he has one) is updates with the latest firmware.

Alright but im running on retail and so is he and i dont think i dled any patches for it but ill look around. Thanks
