Need for Speed - Pro Street

The screenshots look nice. Who has played it? What do you think? Price has dropped already. Carbon was too arcade for me, though it was still fun and I completed it. Is it arcadey like NFS carbon?

It's pretty fun, I like having different cars for different races instead of a racing car suddenly being able to drift like in Carbon. There seems to be a lot more cars too and the damage is a nice touch, it's a fun game.

I think my brother hinted about this one as a possible Christmas gift from me to him. I'll have to look into this one.

Damage model is a fail. Breakable are mirrors, doors nd hoods. I borrow G25 from my friend to play it its nearly unplayable on keyboard :s

I want a G25. For now, I'd be using a 360 controller.

It should work really well.

I remember in carbon, there was no dead zone support, so sometimes the car would pull to the left or right just very slightly. But all you have to do is put the slightest pressure on the stick the opposite way to go perfectly straight.

hopefully they added better 360 controller support by adding deadzone adjustment.

this game is total pants. poor gameplay just an excuse to make another NFS. Worse one so far, and the others were pretty bad too

Agreed i played it for half an hour and hated every second of it,I never thought the cutscenes could get any worse but they did.
Main problem of it they tried to make it more realistic when there are plenty of better racing games out there, And they took away many fun things like cops.

Yup, a real letdown, esp. in comparison to some of the other truly great NFS titles that they have had lo these last few years. I am as sick of yearly updates to driving games as I am to sports games. The new ones are almost always either only marginally better or loads worse. Loads in this case.

I liked NFS [1] on the PS1. NFS 3 - hot pursuit was good.

Everything after that was a let down.


I keep having faith in the franchise. I keep hoping that they will really come out strong, one day, kind of like Call of Duty 4 did.

most of pro street could be improved,but I really enjoy the 1/4 mile drag,1/2 mile drag and whellie comps,but theres no more free roam
