Just wondering what your fastest lap time are for these tracks:

Heritage Heights
Diamond
Dunwich Bay
Bay Bridge
East Park

I'm entering a tournament and would just like to practice against a standard :)

Also post your tunings if you like...

Fun Fun Game. Not sure my timings, i'll get them later though.

I'm on blacklist member #4 I think or #3. I did a 2,900,000 bounty in one police chase. Yeah 16 minutes of hell. Started at a level 3 1/2 topped the scale at 5(cuz thats the max). I was hoping to get around ~500 - 700 grand. Little did I know how good I'd really do. Road Blocks with spike traps... I tried to loose them 4 - 5 times, however they found me when I almost had it. Then finally after almost 17 minutes I got the cops down to one, and amazingly ditched him in a tunnel when he was just a little ways behind me using a variety of tactics. And got away!!

I finished the game and for some reason the last bit was piss easy...I was never more upset :(

The one thing I don't like is that it uses SUPER-catchup!!! Moreso when a blacklist racer is WAAAYY behind...

The two best cars in that game are the Porche Carrera GT and the above.
 
i play this at work. i suck though.
 
I used to play this constantly. I'm in love with the 3rd gen RX-7 in there. Used it to beat Razor and such. Not sure of my times, but pretty much, all you have to do is make sure you don't wreck. If you dont...you should come pretty close to the top.

Only time I'm unhappy about is Bay Bridge - Struggled on track and comp set one time that was 10 seconds faster!!! Still beat the computer overall.

Other tracks are fine though.

If anyone wants a game some time I would be up for it too.
 
Auto? Who uses Auto? Manual is where it is at man!

I have to tune my car else I can't drive it at all.
 
I got bored of this, simply because talent goes out the window with catchup ... doesn't matter how good a racer you are, they always just defy the laws of physics and run you off the road. Give me Forza 2 any day.

I never really found enough of an edge getter with manual. I just stick to the thing that I can't mess up on near as much ;)
 
Is it playable with a keyboard or do you need a wheel?
 
Very playable on a keyboard. Hell I only use one hand.

I don't want to cause myself confusion, hence the auto transmission but I never have tuned...Always been happy working from standard.

I agree that in the Blacklist races, the catch-up is a joke but you can turn that off in Quick races, which is what I have been doing to avoid being slowed by someone ramming me!

If I get a good lead on anyone, they NEVER catch up to me. Why? Because i'm god that why...and I guess I'm good with a manual.

You should try Manual. I know if I want to stay at a certain speed when racing the cops(Trying to dig up a high score, not trying to loose them) I will only shift into about 4 gear. Then when I get a bunch on my ass let it ride into 5th gear and when I have a real nice strench infront of me I put it in 6th and then im going into 200 MPH.

The main thing with tuning though is I can do sharp corners like nothing. This is where the most distance between me and the other car(s) is created. I can often keep gaining speed on long sharp turns.(Like those spiral thingies)
 
Whats everybodys best 1-60 time?

Mines .89 seconds with the Murcielago, tuned.
 
Friend bought this for me for the old 'box, pretty good. Played up till blacklist #4 or so, but then the time trials and cop goals actually got challenging, and I already had Burnout if I wanted to tear my hair out :)



Err... I have nothing to add on the times though. Said friend bought said 'box from me so I don't have access to them, and they'd be shite anyway ^_^

If anyone wants to compare Burnout 3 times/stats however....... well, I don't have access to those either =/

The only real problem I had was with Razor, and for some reason, he'd always blow by me at the last part of the race.

Luckily the last time I raced him he ran into a pole at the finish line, stopped him dead in his tracks.

Then again, the part AFTER that is difficult, if you have no idea what your supposed to do...I kept trying to LOSE the cops. None would be around me, yet they would spawn next to me of hiding for a minute.

*sigh*
 
I've been playing sporadically, i.e. week/month long stretches in between playing time at present. Currently at blacklist #6, finding it relatively easy, however it is definitely getting harder, mostly on the milestone challenges, the races aren't that testing. I'm presently sticking with my RX-8, Evo and Cayman S i've had for the last 3-4 blacklist positions. Will probably buy another car when the need arises.

Have done, and then promptly sold the majority !!! Except for the cars i presently own, 2 of which i think i won via pink slip. I also have the SL500 from blacklist no. 7, but i'll probably sell that.
 
Cheapest way to get a decent car with modifications tbh !!
