Hi guys,

I'm playing a trivia in spanish and have stucked in some questions.

Can you help me please? The questions are:

- What's the black mesa civilian recruitment office phone?

- What weapon Gordon Freeman built when he was six? (5 words)

- According to Judith Mossman, when the combine came from their universe, what were they dependant of? (2 words)

Those are the 3 questions I can't figure how to answer... please help me!

Tbanks in advance guys!

Thanks! It actually is "butane-powered tennis ball cannon" but you helped me a lot getting to the answer!

Can anyone else help me with the others please?

Dependant of? I thought I heard Mossman say something like "Once they're here, they depend on local transportation..."

The Combine were dependant on local transportation.

Edit: Godamnit, Xen. lol

When the combine came to earth they didn't have short-distance teleportation technology so they used terrestrial transit like trains and roads.

So the answer you're looking for is "Mass transit" I think.

The correct answer is "local transportation" thanks again!!!

I need the phone of the civilian recruitment office please!

It's about the 5th line in Half Life 1. Shouldn't take long.

Can't figure out the civilian recruit office phone yet... please help.

This is another one:

- What is the shift that comes after the blue shift in black mesa's work shifts?

Thanks for your help guys!

Does anyone have the blue shift manual? I think the answer might be there attached to Calhoun's reassigment to Blue Shift letter.

555-Mesa, Indigo Shift.

Thanks a lot man "indigo shift" was the right answer... where did u find it? I was going crazy trying...

still having trouble with the civilian recruitment office phone.

It's 555-Mesa, like I said in my previous post.

oh thanks! how did you find both answers anyways? I was going crazy.

Black Mesa advertisement from the Half-Life PlayStation 2 guide, and other information comes from the Blue Shift guide.

thanks test! another one:

On blue shift, on a basement while barney walks dr.rosemberg, he finds an office with a locker with a picture of a baby a dead scientist and a desk... what's the name on the desk?

I believe you're talking about the office where we meet Dr. Harold. I'll check the name.

Edit: It's S. Reardon (Sean Reardon).

thanks test:

the final question I think is a hard one:

After the half-life 2 explotion, city 17 ended really bad. While episode one development, different colors were used on photoshop to chose the atmospheric colors. Finally the sky color used was based on a sun light filter through... (five words)

Water?

That's just a guess but it fits.

And wth's indigo shift??

"smoke from a forest fire"

Its a quote from the developers commentary. The full quote is below:

"[Randy Lundeen] The post-Half-Life 2 look of City 17 was difficult to nail down and went through many changes. We wanted to establish several things; Primarily that this was a different part of the same city with a slightly different atmosphere and that it had been severely damaged. This street was a test bed for a lot of our visual design work. First, we built an intact city street and then we beat up certain buildings, in some cases removing them entirely so that more destruction was visible in the distance. We did an initial lighting pass in the game engine, and then took screenshots of various locations. Using Photoshop, we manipulated those screenshots to establish a color scheme. Photoshop lets us quickly iterate through all kinds of skies, lighting styles, and color schemes. The environmental lighting colors that we ended up with were based on some photo references of the sun filtering through the smoke from a forest fire. Some falling ash effects and a closer-than-usual fog plane helped sell the effect."

Thanks dal1978! Thanks guys...
