Need help about a certain bug in HL2

While playing the game I noticed the bar that shows my ammo is "cut" in the middle. Please help me, what can I do so that this bug won't happen again?
If you don't know what I mean, look the picture:

Happens when you change resolution or change anti-aliasing settings in the video settings. It wil go away if you close the game and re-open it.
