Need Help in GTA Vice City

I've gotten to a point where I have successfully completed every other available mission except for this one which appears to correspond with Lance Vance. The problem is, although the "V" sign appears on the mansion I can't seem to be able to find him anywhere around there.

I don't remember the previous mission I did for him, but I remember the last entryway to meet up with him was at the corner of the upper floor which you can get to by using the front steps.

I've checked all over the mansion for Vance (this is my current situation):

He's not there. There are no other missions I can do and I have already bought some properties. If anyone can give me any clue as to what the hell I am supposed to do, I'd strongly appreciate it. BTW, I'm sure the "V" doesn't stand for "Vercetti State" because it has always appeared to represent a pending mission with Lance Vance.

Edit: I just remembered, the last mission I did with Vance was where you put the bomb in the mall after dressing as cops. I think my game is screwed up.

As far as I remember, all the missions in the masion start in the office room, behind the desk. But also check near the boat dock and on the roof (I can't remember starting a mission from there though)

Vance is in the bar getting drunk :cheese: Go to your right immidiately after entering the masion.

That was another mission. He's not there. Where could he be? :frown:

And if it's the last one the start thing should actually be outside of the mansion on the street, right to the left of the entrance (if you're facing it)

Maybe this is THE last mission (before the final sequence) and now you need to start buying properties?

i think that might be just a reminder to come and check and make sure u pick up the money it makes for u now. In my game i still see the V there but ones i drive away it disappears.
