need help in nova prospekt

i'm past the gas leak where the fire gets created.i go through a shaft and enter a ROOM WHERE THERE IS a giant fan spinning. i stop this and continue to a room where there is a plug i dissconnect.there is still 1 gate or more i have'nt gotten open.i've killed everything it seems and i need help on where to go from here.it seems like i'm just going in circles.help would be highly appreciated.i did hit the switches on the two monitors where their is a switch board of three switches.only one of them turns green and if i rememer right a door or gate opens.

Move the filing cabinets in the room in which you flipped the switch. There's a vent.

i've been to every room i can go to,moved every cabinet,and no vent.maybe i'm going to wrong room but been everywhere.maybe if you could give me a small description of what room looks like with the cabinet
