need help to create buildings please

hi , i encountered difficulties creating my own buildings , they don't seem realistic . Could somebody learn me a trick or two to make nice buildings i'm tired to use those in the models folder

if anyone knows a tutorial about making buildings that would be very helpful thanks to all

you mean skyscrapers for the 3Dskybox, right??

the buildings in the models folder are for skyboxes

and if you mean buildings that the player will walk around then you have to make them from scratch using the block tool. i'd recommend getting some tutorials for Hammer before asking questions like this. in fact, i'd read the SDK Referece Docs. They're there for a reason

i'm sure the SDK Reference Docs show you how to make a simple room for CSS. which would apply for whatever type of map you're making.

And like someone said in a different thread you made, look at buildings around you and how they're constructed. it's really simple, just difficult to explain!

this is wisdom. Buy a big book with tons of pictures of buildings. Look at how they were made. Start with older architecture, as it's more transparent in its construction.
