need help whit PC it shut down alone!

my problem is that sometimes my PC shut off alone,sometimes I am doing things like browsing internet and this PC shut off by itself,but the litle light that is supossed to show that is on is still bright,and when I try to turn it ton again it don turn on,except if I let it some minutes off but still is anoyning

Erm - probably a heating problem?


Try opening up the case and having a fan blow into it or something, i'm not sure - Im not really good with this

Ok, google Motherboard Moniter 5 and download. Keep eye on temperatures and tell what it is.


Or it may be a power problem.

Sounds to me like a borking power supply unit.

Perhaps it's still putting too much current through the circuit when it's shut off, and it's enough to keep the light on.

is it a Dell PC?
I had a funny problem like that. For the first week after i got my pc, it reset itself EVERY time I plugged in my modem intoo the mains.
But got sorted out after a week.
So...
