Need help with Dr. Kleiner's lab in "Red Letter Day."

Hi,

I just started playing this game. I arrive in Dr. Kleiner's lab. Dr. Kleiner won't speak to me. I wait and wait and wait... 20 minutes... 30 minutes... But nothing happens!

I'm told that Barney is supposed to arrive, but this never happens. Is there something that I am supposed to do to trigger the next event?

Please help!

If you are using a pirated version of the game the AI breaks all the time, and that would be your unfixable bug.

If you are using the proper Steam version, you can validate your HL2 files by right clicking HL2 in your 'my games' list, properties > files tab > validate integrity of game cache.

See if that solves it. It seems most likely you'll need to start Red Letter Day again to shake off this bug (New game > select chapter). Good luck.

Hmm, aren't you using any cheats? they can sometimes break A.I. nodes.

I thought that this problem also occured if someone's using a 64-bit OS. Happened to me at the beginning that the AI stopped and yes. I've had a legal copy for quite a while now. Check my Steam ID.
