Need help with job...

I work at AMC and the paycheck I got today was missing 8 hours(I got 30 instead of 38)....is there anything I can do? I don't keep records of my hours besides just writing down how many a week.

Talk to payroll. If they don't fix it, then go higher up and keep complaining until you get those 8 hours.

Haha, I am afraid of the manager though, everyone is.....but I think the highest up I will have to go is one of the nice managers. But what if I am wrong? I am almost positive I am right but....I didn't keep records just hours I worked hmmm.....

If i were the type i would be worried about getting into your situation...namely because im not working my contracted hours.

Something like this happened back when i was at the cafe though, i just told my manager and they sorted it out. They werent a particulaly nice person but if you are firm with them (in the nicest possible way of course) and believe you are right then they will just do it. If you have doubts, i suggest you try and sort those out before making anything of it.

LOL this reminds me of when I was still in school, I worked at a mcdonalds to pay for gas money and one time I got my paycheck and I thought they had ripped me off for two days (16 hours) So I went and bitched to the manager and they put the 2 days on my next check but then I realized that I was mistaken because they pay for the week before and not the week your on... I got my money but hehe I never really was missing any
