Need help with RAM.

Hi im going to be buying more RAM for my computer and was wondering what would be the best type for my mobo it is a Abit AA8XE, i have 512 ddr2 in it the now and want another 1 gig. thanx

so you wanna get a new 512mb stick to add to your existing 512mb stick or do you want to buy 1gb of dual channel ram and not use your existing stick?

just had a look at the spec sheet for your mobo and it can take dual channel DDR2 400 sets or dual channel DDR2 533mhz (for the 1066mhz FSB CPU's???).

Do u have a Pentium4 Extreme?
If not then probablly buy another 512dual channel DDR2 400
