Need PC suggestions

I'm planning to basically build a second computer soon, and I wanted answers/criticisms/suggestions on my current choices.

Case- 480W ATX form factor
CPU- AMD 64-bit +3500
Video card- BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC
MoBo- ??? (clearly socket 939 for above processor)
RAM- twin 512MB PC 3200 DDR (what brand has best deal)

HDD- current ones, or i'll browse for good deals

Basically, I'm willin to spend just over a kilo-buck for the whole shebang, one which will last a good year without upgrades. (or should I wait for some upcoming technologies?)
Is the extra 300 bucks worth it for an FX-53?

if i were you i would not get the fx...too much money, but if you have money to spare give it a shot

Yea everything looks good, the 3200 DDR 400 RAM good call, glad to see you arn't going to cheap out and get 2100, :thumbs: , I personaly like PNY memory, Only becuase i work for CompUSA, and it's our biggest seller... on the MOBO issue i would highly recomend a MSI K8T Neo2 Series board... check em out ( http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_list.php?kind=1&CHIP=68&NAME=Socket )I have only come to appreciate the value of a really good mobo. Other wise all look GTG have fun man i am jealous
