need SDK ... sourcesdk.gcf

Thanks to the security of steam, i can't get my SDK downloading... the stupid program (steam) always chrashes on startup, so NO SDK for me ... now i heard there is a way to download it by downloading a file named "sourcesdk.gcf". Can somebody send me this file??

Well some programs block steam from accessing the internet and may crash it and such... Go to Steam Support and email them for help...

Do you have HL2 purchased? You _need_ that or else you can't get the SDK... so thus even if you had the GCF of the sourcesdk, sorry to say you can't do anything with it as it is tightly integrated into Steam (such as you can't open up Hammer without steam logged into an account that has access to the SDK)

yeah, the .gcf file will be useless if you can't open steam.
