to be honest i never really liked popup websites with an intro screen.

the color is nice i like that. Clean design... seems a little plain....but that wont be so bad when you get some more content on there.

the entry screen is a bit plain to.....mabey add black fading into the middle at the top and bottom or something...

Well, I needed a popup because I wanted the site to fit in a window without seeing all of the plain white background, if you know what I mean :)
 
I like it, and I know what you mean about set sized windows like that, look far neater than the extra space all over the place. I'm all for them and so long as I remember to tell the popup stopper to ignore that particular site they work just fine for me. Using IE6 here, seems just fine, cute women in the gallery btw ;)
 
I like the look of it and I'm glad to see the hl2.net link there.
I think once it has some more stuff on it, it could be a good site.
 
Its nice...And the popup window thing is good, even though sometimes they are annoying. I like designs that are simple as well as "complex". I think its well done, the colour is certainly pleasing as well as kind to the eyes. Its not cluttered and everything looks quite smart.

Good work simmo, you champion althlete/computer genius, you :p
 
Good to see someone else is into "ALTHETICS" ?????

perhaps you should fix ur hobbies, lol, cause, ALTHETICS seems a bit strange to have as a hobby.

all i could spot that was wrong, other than that, B-e-a-utiful.

and i love the scars and shit on the women in the gallery, thats some awsome editing man, i should probably learn photoshop or some form of art, but, i think ill stick with PAINT, cause i can draw wicked stick figures with that :afro:

lol, my only intrest is computers, even tho I'm l33t at athletics, I only like computers, so I had to put something there to make me sound intresting ;).
If I just put computers...well...you know, people will think i'm sad. lol I bet you all do now :p
 
Ok, to begin with. why would you limit your audience by using a popup that some browsers dont support. dont use only one colour but use diffrent shades of the same colour and use 1 or 2 support colour's. 1 is best IMO. dont use the standard font for your text but use verdana. It's a better and cleaner font (used on this board) and it reads much better.
the topimage you used could use some work. and if I where you I would use a much more normal font for the menu. This font is overused on DBZ sited and makes it look.. well cheap. Try to learn from the things I just said. Try it out for yourself and see if you like it. I did webdesign for a couple of years so I know what I am talking about.

I used some of your ideas and came up with this :D,

still pretty crappy tho, only spent 15mins on it
 
looks much better. you might want to add a little to the energy blob thingy..
 
i prefer the look of the original......

i actauly think a combination would be cool..........the layout of the first one but with a silver backround.(not the blue part just the white part)
 
i liked the original...

however, in the original, when you click on the image links, you can't get back.... :(
 
Could someone please give me a scenario ? or summin ?.

Cause at the moment, i'm making designs on the go, without planning anything, so a scenario would be great practice :D, thxs
