Hi I was just thinking about upgrading my computer with a water cooling system so that it will be silent, i was thinking of getting this one http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/products/watercooling/reserator1-plus but not sure. Has anyone got a water cooling system and if so are they worth the money? I want it to be as silent as possible as i just built my media center pc.

My pc spec is : OS:WMC 2005, ABIT AA8XE Mobo, P4 CPU 3.00GHz, 1 gig of ram, nvidia 6600 PCI, Thermaltake tenor case, 300 gig hard drive.

The Reserators are pretty decent pieces of kit. They don't have the greatest cooling capacity, but they do the job just fine, and of course are silent.

However, you don't need to invest in water cooling to have a quiet computer system. There are many case fans, HSF's, graphics card coolers, that are virtually silent and could do the job for a lesser amount of money.

Sure i can

I have one of these myself, very good, quiet and cool, and priced very reasonably.

Zalman equipment is also very good, and designed with low noise in mind:

The second of those is the 120mm variant, and is quite large, so you'd need to be sure that you had adequate space around the HSF mounting mechanism.

This also comes highly recommend from a number of reviews:

Good cooling, and also has variable fan speed, so you can change the speed to suit your needs noise/cooling wise.

Having just looked at your case, i'd say you'd be best off going for one of the zalman products, as they are relatively low profile, whilst the others aren't, and might be a bit of a tight squeeze in that case.
