Apologies for spelling of locations/characters/things/etc

I've just installed this (for about the third time) and this time I want to make it past at least level 1. Anyway, I was looking around Seyda Neen (first village) and I broke into the customs and excise building and paid the fine (5 gold).

But what's in there seems to be worth shitloads! Armour, weapons (250 arrows for example), herbs....and what appears to be drugs! Skooma (sp.) and moon dust. I have two bottles of the former, and about 24 mounds of the latter, but no-where will take it! Any ideas where to sell them?

Training - anywhere cheap? I'm a member of the blades, but the blade trainers still cost loads to use :(

Last thing, healing. I keep reading about standard healing potions, but I can't find anywhere to buy them :(

Sorry for being an rpg noob :p

Try going into people's houses and stealing their stuff then selling it - kill them if you must, but don't do it around others unless there are no guards and you are strong enough to take the others as well

Level 1 is the hardest. Once your past that, your levels will up very quickly. What are your skills? If you posted them, it would help.

As a tip, once you've got some experience and equipment behind you, buy a levitation potion and go to that egg mine near that mountain in the south east part of the island (forgot the names, sorry) Once you get past the enemies and get to the queen, there are some rocks. Levitate past them for a nice suprise.

I can't remember anything really - but I always made shitloads but stealing it and selling it to the Pawn shop. After you've sold lots of stuff you get discounted prices on all the stuff and the woman'll buy your stuff for more.

The thing is, the pawn shop (at least the first one you'll get to) is in Balmora (sp?), get the silt strider thing from Seyda Neen to Balmora, and if you head left when you get off it should be over there somewhere. Just a shop by itself. Make sure you look in the baskets outside - there's always valuable stuff in 'em :)

I can't believe I remember that so well heh!

Get the moon stuff, thats really expensive and illegal :) Well done for breaking into the warehouse... i spent ages trying to do it... was jumping on the roof's all over the village lol. Damn that game was great, i want to load it back up :)

Those are my skills, any advice would be greatfully recieved!

I remembered reading ages ago somewhere about breaking into the warehouse, so I went and had a peek - the door was a level 45 lock, lucky for me one of my magic things is to unlock level 50 on touch :D

I found somewhere that buys the skooma + moon dust - the trader in Balmora (near the silt strider port)

And I've stole lots of stuff now, thanks for the advice. I was a bit weary incase I got shived straight away.

1) The Khajit Vendors usually don't mind trading skooma and I think they don't mind moon sugar/dust either...the only one I can think of right a top of my head is the one in Balmora just next to the mages guild(first or second shop on the right in the main street, when coming from seyda neen) I think maybe you can sell it in some of the smaller villages here and there that aren't to heavily under imperial control(e.g. asslander villages Khuul and Ald Velothi would be my guesses) alternatively you should check out creeper a skank merchant in the Morak Manor(I think the name is) in Caldera...I'm not sure if he will buy the stuff(I think maybe he only buys weapons and armour and stuff like that) but if he's willing you will get full prize(he sucks at bartering(he's the best vendor to get money from though) and he has 5000 septims he can buy for. also check out the talking mud-crab south east of the dwemer ruin Mzahnch(nice name huh?) east of Vivec...he got 10000 septims worth buying for so be careful what mud-crabs you kill...

2) as for training I don't know any that a specifically cheap...but remember to sweet talk the suckers for better disposition...then you get it cheaper. also depending on what you wanna train...there's actually a woman that you are sent to kill in a quest from Ft. moonmoth who if I remember correctly trains sneak, short sword and a third that I don't remember fairly cheap...she's in the basement of "South wall inn"(or something like that) just at the bottom of the silt strider port in Balmora.

3) Healing potions can be bought generally at dunmer temples and imperial cult shrines aswell as mages guilds. you can sign up with the mages guild even if you don't plan on avancing as a mage just to get access to there supply chests which contains both healing potions and magica potions(for free!)...you can do the same for fighters guild I think...I'm not sure they hold magica potions though...alternatively work your alchemy skill up and make your own potions.

hand-to-hand as a major skill = bad move ;)

actually a small piece of advice if you don't mind starting over:

take restoration as a major skill instead of hand-to-hand(you get free heart heal from the start)

switch your medium armor skill with either Axe, Long blade or spear....right now the only offensive skill you've got as a major is hand-to-hand...which is pretty sucky.

Once you start to level up then download the plugin for morrowind called "creeper", do a search in google.

The creeper plugin puts a talking scamp into the second floor of one of the taverns in Caldeera, He always has 500,000 gold on him.

I would'nt consider this cheating since after you raid your first Daedric temple, your gonna walk away with weapons and armour worth more than 200,000 (easy).

I have a level 87 character, with a sword that does 50-75 normal damage, with 10-20 fire damage, Armour level is about 345, And I have about 20 million gold, the only "cheat" I've used is the creeper plugin, But I would'nt consider it a real cheat since where in the whole game can you sell an easily obtained ebony shield worth 40,000 gold, you can't, which is stupid!

Heh, I'm at the point where my major skills cannot be trained by locals, so I have to get experience

Overall level is 23, I think

I also need some Morrowind help, that women in the mage's guild who is meant to help me with the second spymaster quest but she has magically disappeared. Morrowind is being dodgy again and I want to spawn her so I can talk to her, what command is this?

I have a similar problem. I've have to meet Nibana Maesa, who I'm pretty sure use to work in the vivec library, but cannot find her anywhere

If she moved... maybe she left a message...

It's part of the quest, nose around her quaters.

I think... otherwise I'm thinking too far ahead.

There actually is a way to sell expensive items...

The highest amount of money held by a merchant is 10,000 which is carried by the mudcrab merchant, now of course many items are more expensive then that, so a way to get around that: say you want to sell something worth 200,000 to the mudcrab merchant, what you do is go there with that one item that's so expensive and 19 items that are worth about 10,000 or a little more, seems like a lot but there are plenty of those. Now sell him one of those items worth 10,000 to get the full price, being 10,000 gold. Now sleep for 24 hours, after which he once again has 10,000 gold, sell him a second item of 10,000. then sleep for another 24 hours. well you get it, do this untill you've sold all those 19 items, then sleep for 24 hrs, and now sell him the item worth 200000 and at the same time, buy back those 19 other items. This gives you 200000 in gold and at the same time, you still have those 19 items you first sold to him. this works for the creeper as well but then you need to do it in sums of 5,000 and not 10,000.

you...but he's too far ahead as far as I remember...

I can't remember the command for spawning NPCs look at the official morrowind forums it should be easy to find since it's a common bug...
