Need Sound converter/editor for mod

Hey Im working on a sound mod for Doom 3 that uses the very best of all the available mods for D3 and other recent games like HL2 mods... plus some professional sounds I found on the net.


I need a good sound utility!

I need to be able to patch 2 sounds together, cut the end off long sound files, change the pitch of sounds, and/or convert ogg to WAV or MP3. Any one of these features would help

I just want to download something real quick to make this mod, ive been working on it all week and have already assembled the most complete sound mod available (about 10 times the size of most sound mods)

I'm making one complete sound mod for Doom 3 and Im going to Upload it and put a link in my signature. You have to see how sweet it is.


there are a few sounds I found that are almost perfect but i need to edit them or at least convert them to a different format.

I need a free sound utility demo or complete version thats easy to use

Yea, thanks for the quick response. Yes I need one that I can use for like a week with unlimited usage. I hate those ones that wont let u use it for more than like 5 file conversions, or crash, or convert it to horrible sound quality.

Again, thanks. I just couldn't find anything but crashy demos.

oh thats what this is? hah. i have had this installed on my computer for like a year but never used it, so I didn't even load it up to see what it was anymore

.. aparently someone else was looking for a sound editor and someone recommended them this and i was like hey, I may need this one day so i downloaded it too.
