I am helping a second grade teacher right now set up a powerpoint presentation for parent night tonight. She wants the powerpoint show burned on a cd and playe through a dvd player. Is this possible? If so how? I need help as quick as possible, so if you know, please help!;(

You mean a dvd movieplayer fFor the tv? Or in a dvd player in a laptop with a beamer?

If first, no idea if that's possible.
If latter, yes, it can.

no she wants me to burn the powerpoint project to a cd, then put that cd in a dvd player and have it play on the tv its connected to

Hmm, it doesn't just work like that, but it might be possible. You just need to convert the hell out of it. Like first to an animation, then a videofile, then burn that on a dvd (not cd) with Nero or something.

I might be wrong but don't get your hopes up on any easier way.

I would say the easiest way to do it is to connect a laptop or a computer that has an s-video output on it to the TV. If your TV does not have an s-video input, there are s-video to composite video adapters you can buy (if you do not already have one) at Radio Shack or something. I just think that trying to convert it to a DVD format and hoping that it will work is a waste of time. Good luck!

Go into the help menu and type in "burn to cd"

I found it in there (though I am using Office 2007)

There is no direct option, but it gives you steps on how to make it work.
