Need your professional gaming opinions

I don't have much money...only about $60. I'm tied up about what game to get with it. My birthday is on March 8, so I don't have a big problem with waiting for it now, but I might as well spend the cash I have on something.

Definately Resident Evil 4 - it's really, really good. I'll be suprised if it's not GOTY infact. If it was released in 2004 it would have been GOTY then too (and that's taking into account HL2, Rome, MGS3, WoW etc)

Brother in Arms looks very promising, but we don't really know how good it'll be (hopefully it'll be excellent)

However, Resident Evil 4 has already gone done in history as one of the greatest games ever. A classic. It's the safest bet

Either GTA: VC (PC) or Brothers in Arms. B in A is going to be something special. VC is just a classic.

What's so great about resi evil 4? I wouldn't think a horror game would have enough diversity to be worthy of GOTY.

So I guess now it's really up to me.

I've been playing lots of CS:S and Heat of Battle, my favorite CoD mod recently. I still have to go finish Echoes and Warrior Within, so I suppose right now it doesn't quite matter which game I go for, as I have plenty to play....though, it sounds like I'll be going with RE4, just because of the amazing reviews it's gotten. I know BiA looks good, but I've played many WWII shooters, so I think it can wait.

I've also never had a real chance to play VC before, but I loved GTA3, and as far as I know, the GTA series seems to get better and better with each game.

My buying order for now:

RE4
GTA:VC
BiA

I'd pick Silent Hill (any of the series) over Resident Evil. It's a much better kind of horror. It runs deeper, it's not just relying on stuff bursting through windows at you.

Or spend it all on beer, like I do.

I haven't played Resi 4 although it is apparently good, and Brothers in Arms I'm undecided on. It could be the new CoD or it could be a damp squib. Vice City is an increidble game but bear in mind it isn't all that long before GTA San Andreas comes out on PC.

Which is exactly why I want to get it now and beat it. :naughty:

Though, right now I should go beat PoP:WW and Echoes...so I'll do that now.
