I don't know. I'm now kind of undecided on the issue. I used to be, "Yeah, of course!" but not as much now. It really depends on a lot of factors about the person in general, not just the fact that they're a gamer girl. Note: I'm talking about personality here.

I can't say I like the "nerdy girls" who emulate the whole 4chan-esque internet personality.

The majority are not attractive, only in some fantasy nerd world are they all hot.
Most of them are very weird and creepy (not in the good and fun way) and socially awkward (not in the cute shy way) most of them have terrible taste in music, art, and clothing style.

But yeah, occasionally you find a gem.

This, unless the girl is actually really cool, which is also rare. But once in a while one may spot this species in the wild. People should take advantage of that rare opportunity of seeing a hot, cool, nerdy chick.
 
The pics you found are probably not real nerd girls. They are probably just attention whores acting like nerd girls. Not the same.

I don't mind if they look scientific and shit, but I think that if they start doing an embarrassing and snorty nerd laugh, or dress ridiculously stereotype nerd, it's going to be appalling.

To be quite honest, most nerdy girls I know are pretty normal, and the ones who are very socially awkward or whatever aren't actually particularly geeky.
 
The great problem with Nerdy babes is too much sitting around tends to go to their ass after a while. The ideal is a babe whose Nerdy, but gets a bit of exercise (even if it's just wii sports). Lack of lower back definition is a major turn off in a woman personally.

I can't recall her name, but the Blonde Bird who used to be on the 1up show was kind of where it's at for me.
 
A 'babe' implies physical hotness. Nerdy girls are not physically hot, but because they share the same interests as you--and are, therefore, more likely to give you the time of day--your mind'll just go ahead and muddy over the details for you.
 
But the other way around, I used to play this online game with my girlfriend and it was so so so so bleedingly frustrating. She was so ****ing horrible. This went on for years. She got better, but well, she got into games later in life or something. There was no natural skill at games for her, so everything, even the simple tasks that gamers can pick up because they have done something similar before? Not happening for her.

I dunno, I had a semi nerdy girlfriend a while back who could kick my ass at guitar hero and gitaroo man (OH YEAH GITAROO MAN! **** YEAH! wait, screw these parenthesis

... and she was massively into JRPGs and had sunk 100s of hours into Oblivion. We just gamed really differently - me, FPSs, TF2 etc, her, RPGs and rhythm games, so it never really felt like we were competing.

Naw, you've got it all wrong. You just ended up with one of those people that sucks dick at games and gets all mad. Heh, I used to have a friend like that; playing games with those kinds of people isn't exactly conductive to building a strong interpersonal relationship.

Personally, I like the idea of a girl who can whoop my ass in video games.




Sadly, that will never happen. I can never be defeated.
