Nero won't read DVD+RW's

A while ago I got a 25 pack of Memorex DVD+RW's, I have a NEC DVD+RW ND-1100A, and Nero could burn DVD+R's, and any CD just fine. However, it for some reason has a problem with these DVD+RW's, it gives me errors such as saying that a blank disc needs to be erased, and if I use Nero's disc erasing utility it doesn't work. However, other burning programs work just fine with these discs, I have no problem burning these discs with TMPEG DVD Author. Does anybody know of something that might work to get Nero to work with these discs? I'm pretty sure this is a Nero problem.

Silly question but do you have the correct plugins installed?

I should mention it's Nero 6 Ultra Edition. I need plugins to read +RW's?

Nope, I don't think so, not with that version... unless.

Well I have version 6.0.0.0 or whatever, I've never updated so I'm doing that right now to 6.6
