This may not be a problem easily solved by posting here, but I thought I'd give it a shot since I am so frustrated and want any sort of help I can get.
I am on a college network and no matter what time of day or what server I join, I have massive packet loss. My pings are fine ironically, but if I use "net_showdrop 1" I can see basically lots of packet loss constantly. What's weird though is my friend 2 doors down doesn't have this problem and plays CS: Source without any issues even though he's connected through the same exact network that I am.
I've tried some console commands but have had no success. Any suggestions on how to remedy this problem?
Thanks for any help!
