Recently when I am connected to the internet I will get these slowdowns at which no pages will load and downloads will just stop. Be in mind that my connection to the net is still running.

When this happens I have to disconnect and then reconnect, this usually happens several times during the time I use the internet.

Now I am on dial up through Earthlink. I am using a ZOOM 56k V.92 PCI modem. I have the latest drivers installed for it too.

I am wondering if it could be the modem causing this or maybe IE, I am at a lost.

im guessing its just your internet service

dial-up is by no means stable

well it use to be stable for me, but now now and it is my only option.

isp u use, probably got more customers, dropping there bandwidth by a little bit, but, it just dropped below bare minimum for stuff probably

It was like this ony my previous ISP too, I emailed them about the slowdowns. They said they had no idea.

I had a problem similar to that too, except im on 2.5 mb cable, it turned out to be my fire wall, zone alarm.

you could of just said cable, but no you had to throw in the 2.5mb.

my manhood just shrunk....;(
