New Alyxgun first person model?

I don't know anything about modeling, but it's always bugged me that when you cheat yourself the Alyxgun (give weapon_alyxgun) the model is completely screwed up (facing the wrong direction, sideways, and way too big). Anyway, does anybody here know if it'd be possible to remodel it so it looks right? Thanks.
