I was going through the training levels and I watched TV during the special forces course, and it turns out there was a written test at the end which I failed. I promptly quit the game and never touched it again since I figure anyone stupid enough to make you take a written test in a videogame obviously doesn't know shit about making a good game.

Fuhrer, the MP isn't bad at all. It's not arcadey like CS but it's still fun. Rounds are extremely long but it's rewarding to be alive at the end. Give it another try :E

do not EVER compare AA to CS. CS is a zit on the ass of AA. AA pimps it up.

i think it deserves adding that the training courses require little more than a pulse to complete, and that its right up there with other lofty challenges like not getting your dick caught in your zipper. :|

Wow, that test was so easy. I didn't listen at all and I got it done the first time, I got like %96.

yeah it seems to me that virtually anyone with a knowledge of common military equipment and vehicles (and what gamer isnt?) should be able to pass that really easily. whats there, like m4, ak47, t72, apache and a couple others.

I think there was a makarov to, which is easy to identify even if you don't know the gun because it is so much different from others.

I've only tried it once... on a computer with a TNT2 graphics card... that was fun.

I've tried it on a TNT2 before. :x I could reach 20fps. I didn't think it was possible....

i could run it on a TNT2 32mb badly. not so since 2.0 came out, but i had a 9800pro at that point.

Americas Army was a really good game, ive played it since the first version before multiplayer when it was just the Marksman range . I do like that they are finally implementing physics into the game.... but they are horrible horrible U2 Karma engine physics.... I mean why? Just why? Havok is so so so much better, and apparently fairly easy to incorporate into other game engines. And if a small company like people can fly bought it. Im sure the frickin US Army can lol. Also all those of you who don't like it. There is a simple solution DONT PLAY IT! its free for crying out loude. Besides the fact its our tax dolalrs, but think about it. Tax dollars to make First Person SHooters. Now THAT is tax dolalrs well spent

sadly enough, I agree although the actual gameplay makes absolutely NO use of the knowledge you gain from studying for that test and is actually fun. So imo GJ army ruining a great game

i honestly don't see how that test ruins the game. true, there are some drawbacks to the game (E & E, no user created maps, long rounds), but the graphics are very nice, the best models of any game i've ever seen, and some fun gameplay.
