Look at this.. This.. Beauty!

I put this on layaway like a week ago.. Man has it been a long week, it was SOOOOO worth the wait, this thing sings!

I wish, oh how I wish I had a video camera to record this. It sounds amazing... Maybe my camera phone won't be that bad.. I'll try to record through that.. I dunno what the previous owner was doing, I bought this used and it still even had the cardboard around the power cable, manual in the plastic, registration card, etc, etc... I don't even think the guy played the thing! Look at it, it looks brand new! The only thing I don't like is the digital reverb, it's a vintage remake, why not put spring verb in it? Makes no sense.

It only goes up to 10. Take it back. :p

Looks pretty sexy, dude.

Isn't the reverb and delay in those all digital? I'm all for a good Fender tube amp but digital effect ftl. How much did you spend on it?

I know it seems I like to shit on every purchase you make but it's totally not on purpose :D

No I know what you mean, all effects are digital, I personally think they are pretty decent and usable, but I've got a BOSS ME-50 and I'll just use that..

But I don't use a whole lot of effects as it is, so for the moment I'm just plugged straight into the amp and don't really use the effects, but if need be I will, because like I said they are decent.

I ended up paying about $800 for it I think (I bought strings, new cable (the angled one in the first and second picture), and some other things, and I also put some money down for the layaway, so I don't know exactly how much I spent, and I don't feel like doing the math :p ). I also want to say this thing is loud, it's great. The clean channel especially - I have it just barely on 1 and it's rattling my windows (when I spank it), when everyone leaves for work, I'm going to crank it to 10 and see if I don't blow out my eardrums :)

haha, I really want a new amp as well, mine is the worst part of my gear. I'm not sure I want to pay that much for a new one though, that's like both of my newer guitars combined in price.

And yeah, only 10, wtf.

Amp makes like 80% of your tone, which is why I have no problem having a kickass amp thats almost worth 2 of my main guitars.

Next I shall get a MIM Tele though, I tried one through this when it was in the store while testing it out and holy **** this amp is clearly made for tele's.

my dad traded in his old amp and it was also a Fender, looks very similar. sounds awesome though

If you're gonna get a MIM Tele I'd recommend going with one of the thinline teles. the semi-hollow sexiness combined with a telecaster twang is amazing.

Even the word twang makes my skin crawl.

Looks nice, I especially like the foot pedal; very practical. I love the tones you get from valve amps as well, I could literally have sex with the clean tones I get on my Vox.

What model Vox? I'm looking at getting an AC30 head+412 cab combo soon

Yeah I currently use a AD100VT head and cab combo for gigging but I am disliking the power since its fully digital so thinking once the loan comes through in Jan, selling the head and getting one of the valved models like the AC30. I was looking into Mesa amps but for the level I am at its probably not worth it, considering they are a bastard to maintain.

Aren't AC30's like $1500? I was looking at them a loooong while back, then while I was looking for one of them I heard the fender twin verb... :3 That's my dream amp, but real vintage (not the '65 remakes, I heard those suck) ones are like $3000.. Must be sooo worth it though.

EDIT: Look up the user "Frettedamericana" on youtube, a kickass guitar player named Phil X demo's their guitars (all vintage), and he uses an AC30 for his cleans, sounds amazing. I subscribed to them.

4.5W I think.. I think it just uses a 9V BOSS Adapter.

 oh you meant the amp lol I was wondering why you were asking if you had one haha

4.5 watts!? I think that's the amperage/hour or something.

Edit: Oh, lol. k.
