Steve Beckett, founder of Aphex?s parent label Warp Records, exclusively said: ?We?re definitely going to be putting out a new album by him. Hopefully it will be this year, if I can prize it out of his hands. It?s definitely on its way.?

Back on Warp? Looks like someone's jonesing for some dough..

Also, it's going to be "very different from his other work" according to another reliable source.

Excellent news. Can't wait for the new material. I can't believe drukqs is 2001, though if The Tuss is really him then I guess that counts, too.

Chosen lords is 2006 i think. Some fan asked him if he was the tuss at a live gig, he apparently responded "I thought that was pretty obvious?". The sound of it is a dead giveaway anyway, he's the only person who does this kind of music who has a GX-1.

Although the thought of a new Aphex album makes me happy as hell, I'm holding back on my emotions until we get some more info on it.
