New Apple iPod Nano

yeah but ipods have unbelieveably bad battery life compared to other mp3 players. my ipod mini says 12 or so hours, but i can barely get 6 at a push or there abouts :(

Bah. I was hoping I could built giant weird alien hives with it and rip my enemies apart on a molecular level. :(

It's all lies. The pictures make it seem small, but in reality that thing's about three feet tall.

Lies.

And then they make zillions off the postage and packaging costs!!!

Its true!!

yeah i know what you mean. some of my friends batterys are shot on normal use, but just got apple to replace them within the first year. others have the backlight and eq on all the time and wonder why the battery doenst last.

where as mine lasts the said 12 hours most of the time. muahaha

but the size and weight are pretty nice. but i can still see the people who where bitching about the mini's size adn weight will switch to something else(noone here i mind you, some people just have it out for apple)

I think the time has finally come for me to get an iPod.

There is never a time to get an iPod.

(Creative Zen Micro, ftw!)

Pfft. Get an iPod mini. Load it up with Bon Jovi. THAT'S the best way, and you know I'm right!

Actually, when you pay postage and packaging, it costs WAY more than it does for the company

I'm more than satisifed with my sony network walkman mp3 players which i had before the iPod came out, hold like 280 songs...which is all i need tbh. Me walking down the street singing 'its my lifeeeeeee, its now or never, i aint gonna live forever!' 'whoaaaaa living on a prayer!' How's that tickle you Tony?

i thought i might make a thread for this in hardware but while there is a ipod thread could anyone tell me if a US mini ipod would work in Europe, my sis is in the states atm & is thinking of getting 1 but wants to know will it work here on my computer and european sockets(charging it) etc?

on topic: dont like it tbh, too thin for me, i prefer my iriver...

I dunno, that's almost too thin. Now if they came out with a player the size of the iPod mini with 20g or so then i'd buy that in a heartbeat. =p

i would break that damn thing just touching it, besides, it's an iPod, i still hear complaints about them

Have an mp3 player, sadly its a 256 meg Creative Muvo. You think this Nano thing's gonna drop in price sometime?

What do you think? Keeping in mind that the prices of the iPods and iPod Minis didn't drop for quite some time if they even dropped in price. I cannot remember.

it kinda did when they made the 6gb ipod mini, the 4 went down to 200

yet again they have about 80% of the market, and who ever had the biggest share has the most problems reported.

I was watching a commercial that aired during the Patriots vs. Raiders game, and I saw them tossing it around. I thought to myself on how many they broke during that commercial.

I refuse to pay $200-300 for convience.....I enjoy my $30 cd player and library of 250cds.....

if something is nano its 10 to the power of minus nine smaller than the original designated unit, such as a meter or second, hence the product name is flawed
