Pendragon, do you have any suggestions to make it better? Or should I just go with my previous Halo one?

One solution may be to save it as a gif instead of a jpeg. Jpeg blurs paint pictures a lot.

I'd also do all the stuff pendragon said, and possibly center the ball more in the... centre.

That is a lot better. The orange got kind of greyed-up in the conversion, but otherwise you can tell what it is now. Removing the sun was a good idea, it was really just taking up space before.
