Hey cool. I was also in EB games today and they had some sortof behind the scenes thing on tv in the store. (unrelated to eb games, that's just where I was). They showed this hydraulic/animatronic alien and loads of costume stuff. There was also an animatronic predator face. One guy showed off a triple-length predator wristblade thingy.


edit: the face off was cool. the alien pred fight was rather lame.

...wow... the first clip was pretty sweet... didnt these guys ever hear of CGI. IMO that would be more suited for this movie as of now.

well, i thought the pg-13 would make it suck, but then i used my brain, and found that we will be seeing alien gore, not much human, so thats why.
I dont think they consider it gore or very violent if its aliens or monsters getting decappitated.

Yea i very much doubt the predators like to adopted WWF wrestling moves when fighting the aliens, that kinda turns me off. the first video was good, the second was alright up untill he started to swing the alien around. also theres no THX sound in these videos and ur watching it at a very small scale.

I'm worried about this movie. It'll either totally kick ass or totally suck ass, and could really ruin the alien and predator franchises (imo).

It is diverging from canon a bit; in Alien3 it showed who made the Bishop android (and thus had the androids look exactly like him) but in AvP they're gonna have the founder of the Weyland corporation be the person who designed the android (same actor in AvP and Alien3). They even change his name.

I know I'm being a little anal with that, but if they're willing to retcon one thing out, I'm sure they'll have plenty more contradictions. I'd say it's guaranteed that there'll be contradictions in the biology shown in the Aliens, as there've been minor contradictions in that quite a bit in the Alien series iirc.

EXCLUSIVE TRAILER!!!!!!!!! OMG! Please, i have seen all the trailers. The predators in no means have any wrestling moves in this movie.
