Don't think so. There's rumors of them changing requirements for ranks and various awards though which would be nice so people could actually earn a medal in their lifetime...

Yeah, wasn't that in that post by Jimbo about some leaked features of the 1.03 patch? Everybody will gain a rank (sergeant ftw!!!!11) and it will be easier to get badges and medals.

So they say...But I don't believe the "leaked 1.03" stuff...seems way too fishy.
