New beta driver 81.85

Added support for VSync on Direct3D games when running NVIDIA SLI.

That will make some HL2 owners happy.

yeah I was very happy to see that but when I ran CSS with SLi on I didn't get any tearing like I was before but it got jumpy/jerky. with it off it ran fine as usual. same for anyone else?

when I looked at the fps it was going from like 50-100 back and forth really fast causing this jumpyness.

My mate who has a fx5900 tried out some 81.** beta drivers and he said that he experienced some dodgy black spots in css. Anyone else found this yet?

My mate had some 81.** installed on his 6600GT and he never mentioned any problems...

And thanks for these drivers, just in time for me to install my 7800GT's when i get home tonight

i'm using these beta's. they seem fine, no massive increase in performance, maybe a litte, but otherwise satisfactory as always, besides, what's the harm in giving them a go, it's not exactly a complex procedure !

My css crashes after joining a game some times almost immediatly sometime after 15-30 mins. The first time it crashes It said "hl2.exe has encountered and error and had been shut down" (Somthing similar to that) then when I tried again it just froze with looping and I had to restart mt PC.

I have SLi off so its not that.

My CS randomly crashes to desktop when sending client info... i know its not nvidia's problem though... i had it with my ATi card too... a format this weekend should do fine
