New C&C3 screens

In all honesty I must say that Im really not impressed with anything Ive seen about this game so far! Which is a shame because C&C was the game that poped my pc cherry! Hopefully they will show something more as we approach release that will give me that "wow" factor!

ya red alert was one of the best. this game just looks like tiberian sun with a new game engine.

Not impressed at all. C&C is great, but those graphics scream "original 40K Dawn of War engine" to me.

I think it looks really smart but I have one grudge... first WTF is this unit, it looks like the robot out of The Sims and second, it's not sat on the hill correctly! :(

Mad amounts of awesome, but I hate how those tanks look.

I'd like to see a truly epic sequel to Command & Conquer: Red Alert, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. Red Alert 2, while fun, contradicts the storyline, so... let's just pretend it's a spin-off.

Anyways, looks yummy, I'll love to play as the Brotherhood of Nod again. I remember Renegade, and the beautiful, vast interiors of the Temple of Nod...

That be the Nod Avatar, I believe.

All these C&C fans.... so few on cncnaton.... ;(

Oh, my... my love for NOD grows...

Anyways, apart from CNCNation, what other foras are there?

looks kinda flat to me... have to see it all in motion to make a judgement, but all the outdated play mechanics still seem to be in effect... i.e. disorganised tanks formations, aircraft attacking from ten foot in the air, chaotic mixing of unit types. I loved C&C up to Generals (rubbish), but the developers need to update something besides the graphics.

Hm....hm...HMMM

Why are they posting the screens in super high resolution so everyone can see the small ugly details and errors?

The infantry looks crap, and those...robot thingys...looks like some kind of lego robot from when i was 5 years old. Seriously...wtf is happening? why are they doing this? omg

Agreed. The only impressive thing the engine has pulled off in these shots is the smoothness of vehicle hangars and lines painted on the pavement.

I do like C&C, but still...

I think it looks pretty good. As long as its fun, then the graphics can be last-gen. I play (and L.O.V.E.) Defcon after all. :O

Looks fantastic, some Nod units looks a bit weird but game will be fantastic, I guess.
By the way, I joined CnC Nation today!

I think some of the units are fine but others (like that Robot!) are abit stupid looking, I know it's a futuristic game, but a giant robot? :|

God, I can't go back to an RTS without proper scaling after playing Company of Heroes.

Umm, wtf Stigmate? They shots look nothing at all like the 40K engine! It is a massively upgraded SAGE engine and for the most part look utter sex

I'm not impressed with the unit designs

Yeah, i'll admit that some of the units are a bit meh, namely Firehawks and the Avatar seeming a bit flimsy :/

Care to explain this mate? All RTS's have problems with scaling units, even CoH

Anyway as i've avoided posting a load of C&C stuff for fear of advertising, i will throw ya'll some stuff

Mike Verdu talks on the new User Interface with some new pic here

A good bunch of new shots here

And of course much more at cncnation!

Now a quick bitch on how loads of you signed up when i first promoted cncnation, but now (with a few exceptions) it is rare to see any of you there

D:

Company of Heroes does a much better job at proper scaling than anything out now, as well as what I've seen from these screens.
