I know most technique stuff, it's just a bit harder to put it into practice, and to find something interesting to take photos of.

If photographing reflective objects, make sure to be fully clothed.

Ahh, therein lies your problem. Try not to find something to take interesting photos of, take interesting photos of what you have.
