New Conan action game coming next year!!

Details of THQ's Conan action game are starting to become apparent several months after the publisher signed it up. Thanks to Game Informer magazine, we know that it's due out in the first quarter of next year...

And no, its not the MMORPG that is coming out later this year. I am extremely excited for this one as mmo's aren't really my thing (though Conan's looks pretty dern good) and because Conan is best suited for an action game imho. Hopefully there will be lots of blood and great quotes...!

I can't wait for the MMO as I'm with Stern on this one. I might pick up this action game after I play the MMO a lot. A lot.

ya saw this last night ..dont have all that much faith in the developers ..blizzard parted ways with them on Ghost cuz it didnt live up to their standards ..also their last game Marvel nemesis was mediocre at best

still a god of war style action game (if done right) could be great ...it's just that all previous attempts at a Conan game turned out embarrassingly crappy ..but it doesnt matter cuz if it has "Conan" in the title, I'm buying it ..even if I have to buy a freaking console to play it ..it's coming to pc btw


also the article is misleading cuz first quarter begins on April 1st 2008

Nice! If they can get production values up there with God of War and also make sure the gameplay/combat is as compelling and fun, then this could be an incredible title! Good to see the big man in the loincloth back in action! This (see below) was getting a little old...
