In case you don't follow the EditLife news posts...

1) He is risen! Christmas is over, but whatever.

2) EditLife.net, community editing site, has been updated and overhauled, in both looks and content. Step right up and get hot files, mod-specific content, and wonderful tutorials delivered right to your door... and then register at the forum and laugh at us or something. Whatever.

3) Custom FGDs 1.0.8 have been released. They can be downloaded from http://www.editlife.net/customfgd.php; a changelog is available at http://www.editlife.net/fgdchangelog.php.

This is a pretty important update--notably, we've submitted to the Will of the Community in that these FGDs include the entities func_wall, func_illusionary, func_wall_toggle, trigger_once, and info_teleport_destination, which had been removed from prior FGDs for reason of either deprecatedness or redundancy. Many people still like to use them, though, and in the interest of not estranging those people, Groundflyer and I have chosen to oblige them.

All CS:S weapons can now have ammo defined directly from the weapon's properties, too; no more bothersome ammo entity workarounds. Also, lights include HDR properties for mods that support them, and other entities affected by the engine changes have been updated. As usual, several entities that really were nonfunctional had to be removed, and functional entities and properties that were not there were added.

This update also includes a DOD:S FGD, and the first-ever third-party mod FGD, for the Dystopia demo. I will not make news posts en masse for updates to third-party mod FGDs (those should be restricted to the mod's forum).
