New DOOM3 E3 2004 video

It was taken from the XBOX before you say it looks poo (which it doesnt anyway, cant way for a PC version of it on a next-gen gfx card *drool*)

Is it just me that gets a tingle in my spine from watching it...so scary it will be.

I dled that video a few hours ago, imo it sucks, its way to dark to see anything really.

o.o I saw everything that you are ment to see quite clearly....you are'nt supposed to be able to see where the light does'nt shine.

And it does run properly and its running on an xbox and its a 10mb video that is 2 mins long at about 420x420 ress and it looks just as choppy as the new HL2 video i just saw...if not better, HL2 has no colour in that video, everything is bland and plain.

That HL2 video looks like that cause of the lighting conditions and the screen that the person recorded it from. I wouldn't ever ever go by color and saturation seen on a shakeycam.

It jerks around occasionally. The HL2 video jerks occasionally, but that isn't due to poor performance as it doesn't actually slow down, just skips a little. It must be a bug with entities. And how can anyone look at D3 with it's monchrome and red colours and say HL2 is the same? :|

Just as in a football match, you don't sit in the other teams seating area wearing your teams fan items, and then when your team wins you cheer and bash the other team. That might get you a free trip to the hostpital.

I am basing the performance of a console version to the performance of a pc version. Perfectly reasonable.

Some parts of the trailer look jerky...especially the fighting parts. They should not release the game in Xbox in the first place.

If i went to the HL2 discussion part of the forums then i would expect HL2 wannabe-devs that praise HL2 like they made it or have anything to do with it to flame me but that isnt the point. I have my opinion, well it isnt an opinion, D3 _DOES_ have better graphics than HL2, so its more a statement isnt it?.

I hope the openin sequence of the trailer is the actual beginning of the game. It will look so awesome in full screen and high res. Wish I didn't know anything about Doom 3's plot, so it would be cool when the marine examines the corridors and finds only torn corpses and walls painted with blood. It would be like "Jesus man, what the hell happened here?! Oh man, I gotta get going, this place is like straight from HELL! What's gonna happen next?! OH MY GOD HELP ME!!"
