New E3 Dates Revealed

The revamped Electronic Entertainment Expo will be held July 11-13, 2007 in Santa Monica, California, where a number of hotels and the Barker Hangar will host press conferences, smaller meetings, and gameplay demos, the Entertainment Software Association announced today.

Nice to see it's not going to be the huge facade it's been the last couple of years at least.

I'm sure thats a good thing. It means that E3 doesn't get overrun by people that "review" or "contribute" to a bunch of websites no-one visits anyway.

It also means we have to listen to corporate morons repeating each other on sites like Gamespot, Gamespy, etc who post the same mind-numbing rubbish.

you're better off going to the GC in Leipzig, germany now if you want a huge gaming mekka event like the E3 has been in the past. now its a small event where only invited people will be let in.

Not any more. The E3 organisers have anounced they will be enforcing a "pre-existing dress code". I suspect the womens movement got to them
